Hey Folks, I experienced an absolutely awesome Alaska River float trip of some 90 miles on the Kanektok River with GM, Flys4b8t, Jet and Pit Boss (alias Greg Miller, Michael Wrisley, Joe Tax and Eric Gilmore) over the last couple weeks.
Flying into Bethel Tuesday morning after flying all night, 8/21 
Town of Bethel, Alaska 
Lots of folks sitting in Papa Bears Lodge waiting to get on the River 
Finally Plane nearly loaded ready to hit the Sky 
Greg, enjoying the scenery on the way to the lake 
Our put in at the lake, the adventure about to begin. 
The Kanektok gang (minus Bluegrass Bill) ready to go

This is actually our second Grizzly we saw

I am still learning how to use this new board. I still get a real kick out of reliving that Alaska trip. It was no doubt the single best fishing/wilderness experience I have every had (so far anyway;)). We had really good fishing, great weather, great scenery and great company. That experience will be very hard to top in the future. Thanks for bringing it back into focus on the new board here:) . Best Wishes and tight Lines, Bill  |

I added a couple more pics/gems taken by my other Kanektok Klan compadres to my original post. Many of them you may have seen from their posts but I think there are probably a few you haven’t.
