Hi everyone,
New site looks great. Haven't been on in quite a while and haven't fished much in the last couple of years. Unfortunately my knee has made it a real problem but it's gotten somewhat better and I just can't stay away any longer. So I am looking for some advice.
Does anyone know if its gotten cold enough to where the fishing has flipped to being better during the mid day while the sun is on the water or are we still doing better in the mornings and evenings?
Obviously this depends on elevation, river, etc. I am thinking of trying to get up to the N. Fork of the Feather or maybe the Yuba (below hwy 20 bridge) or maybe the Truckee. Anyone have any suggestions?
I live in Lincoln now, so these are all places I can get to in an hour to an hour and a half.
Any advice (on flies also) would be greatly appreciated.
Even in my hay day I never got out much this time of year, so I am a little out my element and just found out tonight I could get away tomorrow.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Look forward to being back in the fly fishing world, I've sorely missed it.
