Snow and Cooler Weather 17 Years, 4 Months ago  
Snowed 3" at Tahoe last night. Got down to 20. Fishing should get good now.

Hope this pic shows up...not seeing it in preview

Got a smattering of snow here in Minden too. Melting already this morning.

By the way, the pic came out great. I never use the "preview'. I just post then edit if something doesn't look right.

We're at 36 degrees right now in the Mohawk Valley and Grizzly Ridge has traces of snow across the peaks. This cold weather killed my Virginia Creeper which is normally a brilliant red right about now.

Sonny, the black lab, ran ahead to make sure there were no gophers or jackrabbits in the way. If you don't give a dog a specific job, he'll improvise one for himself and it will invariably be fun. There's a lesson there.
