ya know, James Prosek writes in his book about catching some big ole' strange fish in the Seine right in Paris (not fly fishing). Paris is a cool town... lived there for just shy of a year back in '96-97. Didn't fish though. The headwaters are supposed to be pretty productive with prolific mayfly hatches and all. From Italy you are in striking distance to the Marbled Trout of Croatia too... something that is on my "some day" list.
I prefer American women, gotta say. The French one's, at least, all dressed the same and lacked the kind of individuality that Americans have.
