Not a current report but, a lot depends where you are staying and whether or not you are to launch a boat. This time of year there are fish throughout the lake regardless of earlier PH levels.
Not sure if the campgrounds, at the South end are open, since it is nice to launch at the Marina. They redone the campground at Merrill, with hookups now, so it might be a good idea to check out.
From the Marina to just below the Eagle's Nest is always good dragging one of J. Fair's special flys, allowing an extra cup of coffee in the morning chill. There are always a lot of fish caught along the Aspen campground to the Ronald MacDonald house.
On the other side above Wildcat at the old airport while cracking ice, dries (big) will work quite well from shore. Then up at Spalding by the airport, as suggested, can be productive, though I think Thanksgiving week is best up there. Nice RV park by the airport.
Jay Fair is the authority on this lake, still!!
Good luck and be sure to have lots of fun.
