The Northern California Fly Fishing Board

If there weren't a bunch of idiots out there who over fish when nobody's looking I'd totally agree. I had a customer the other day who went fishing up north at a certain lake. He said he and his buddies each caught over twenty trout. And they kept all of them!! more than 60 trout taken. He's braggin to me about this. Worst part is they had to leave the next day and the fish all went to waste. I wanted to grab this dude and shake some sense into him.

On another rant, I work next to a creek that is closed for fishing except for a few months out of the year for the steelhead run. It's amazing how many people I catch down there about to throw there line in to catch baby steelhead during the summer.
