SA SHARK 6 weight review 17 Years, 4 Months ago
Just got a SA shark 6 weight, and that lines just shoots like crazy. Using it on a 6 weight sage, and casting to fish 70 feet out is a breeze. It is made so that false casting at 51 feet is the same as false casting other lines at 35 feet. Very bad ass line.

does it have a taper spec in the box? ie.. 6" tip, 8' front taper, 45' belly etc... I'd really like to see that for comparison to the SA ED. If it does, can you type it out or take a pic? It's not up on their site yet.

The coating can't help with false casting can it? unless it's got less resistance in the air as well as the guides... lots of promises on that line, but I typically take Bruce's word

Yes, it has less resistance in the air, like a golf ball. PLus sheds water. Which Bruce?
6 weight
front taper 9'
belly 1 16.5'
belly 2 15.5'
rear taper 13'
head length 54'

head length of 3-8
3 45'
4 48
5 51'
6 54'
7 57'
8 60'

In most conditions I false cast at any where from 5 to 65 feet. Will this line improve my casting ability?

I need all the help I can get.
