Toulumne River 17 Years, 3 Months ago
Has anyone been down to the Toulumne lately? Thinking about sneaking in a day this October around mid-month. How low is the river?

Thanks...

Our tradition is that of the first man who sneaked away to the creek
when the tribe did not really need fish.

I was just up above the meadows. It was low but still fishable in the right spots.

I've only been down there one time, so I'm no authority, but you should have the place to yourself.
You might check on dreamflows.com to find the level of the river...
