Just finished Anders Halverson's book, "An Entirely Synthetic Fish." It gives a good overall history of how, when, where, and why rainbow trout have been stocked around the world. He also talks about stocking of other types of trout. Its a good read on the subject. Mike

A good read, indeed! Very informative and well researched. Anders has a website devoted to native trout found here: http://anglerslifelist.com/first No planted hatchery trout here!
