I am saddened to report that Harry Mason has passed away. Many folks on this board greatly benefitted from his expertise and helpful advice. Harry was a friend and someone I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with at the various shows exhibiting fly tying techniques. His sense of humor, sage advice, and infectious smile were always welcome. His son placed a notice on his website if anyone is interested. www.troutflies.com Rest in peace Harry and tight lines.

Thats really sad news....My thought and prayers go out to his family and friends!
I never met him personaly but he helped me a lot with advise on tyeing and his tutorials
were the best.

I am very, very sorry to hear this. I learned a lot from Harry on everything from fly tying to debating. He is going to be missed. My condolences to his family and his friends.

That is sad to hear, when you think of all the lives he touched with his knowledge, tips, and advice it leaves a spot that will never be quite filled the same. My condolences to his family.
