I still lurk here from time to time but these spammers that have taken over can be stopped by requiring moderator approval before being allowed to post. Thats what other boards are doing. This stuff has made this board unreadable.

This board is not a commerical enterprise. It is not supported by a business or advertising. We are lucky to even have the NCFFB.

Hopefully the powers to be will be able to modify the Board to require some type a verification.

Adding a Approval for each post feature only puts more work on the Moderators.

Maybe adding a vertification feature for a new poster would help?

I have faith GM will be able to work on it when he has time.

I guess I wasnt clear enuff sorry. I was talking about new posters.

Only GM can add features, etc. All I can do is delete or edit. I have been banning the posters, yet for some reason, the software is still letting them post.

I just added a registration step requiring any new users to have moderator approval. I hate to have to do that, as we wanted things to be as easy and user-friendly as possible. But that will be better than having the board overrun by spam. We are working on getting the remnant spam removed as well.

Sorry it has taken so long to get this stuff under control.
