Hi all,
I haven't done much fishing in the last two years due to a bone on bone thing in both knees. Anyway I couldn't stand it any longer so went out and bought a little aluminum boat with trolling motors front and rear and a depth finder. It works great for ff'ing and bass too.
I fished Davis with Willie last Saturday with mixed results, but at least I was fishing. We managed to get 12 nice trout to the boat. Several we're a solid twenty with the smallest going around 16 inches. The fish came on: ice cream cone #16, bead head pheasant tail #18, floating ant #16, scarcely tied peacock woolly bugger#10, and a #10 sheep's creek special.
It was sure great to pick up a fly rod again!
