Arrived 6-10 -13 about 3 pm, didn't make the evening fishing. What the heck, we had all week. Old trout arrived in time for dinner.
6-11-13 woke at 8 am to white caps, 20 mph winds with gusts. To a drive from Beakworth to Clover Pass, Truck now has Californa pinstriping. I think OldTrout was empressed how narrow and steep of a road a GMC can take.
6-12-13 woke at 8:20 am to white caps, 25 mph winds with gusts. Took a trip and checked out every access
and then fished the middle fork of the Feather. I managed a tri sectra, caught a trout on a dry, caught the first trout, and caught the biggest trout. Saw an amazing caddis hatch that lasted 2 minutes tops. Betty, Sanger Dave and Charlie J arrived that afternoon.
6-13-13 Up very early and fished Eagle Point. Nice day, caught fish on damsels, midges, and stripping wiggle tails, The damsel hatch has not started. Saw lots on blood midge casing floating on the surface.Dink and Jackie arrived that afternoon.
6-14-13 Up Early again, Wind and white caps at 10:30 am. Some of use left and the wind almost immediately slowed down.Big feed that night with all the normal Bash Food, Bulgoi, corn , salad, and Jackie's famious desert surprise.
6-15-14 UC and I packed it in and headed home. Of couse is was a perfect day for fishing with little wind.
Great time and if you can, the damsels should be sarting up in force very soon,
also saw 2 Hex dries at FairView. eagles flying thu the trees like jet fighters, and jet fighters.
That,s my recollection
