had a few visitors at the job site today
this one was their first pass. still about 2 miles away. i had the camera on 6x digital zoom. notice the afterburner glow
low and slow
this project site is in a valley so you hear them all around and then all of a sudden here they come. its all but imposible to focus, keep the sun's glare out and get a good shot. there was a sinlge that i never heard until it was over my head (i'm dead) never got a shot. when you follow them to the west you're looking right into the sun
this is a shot of the new air bus. what a monster. it took off about 3pm. i looked over my shoulder and saw it just above the roof tops. a f-18 was escourting it out over the ocean during practice. it was flying so low and slow i couldn't believe it was staying in the air. i was scrambling to find what pocket i put my camera in
it would have been an awesome shot. anyway, it circled around for a while before it was gone. I'm not sure if its going to do a fly by tomorrow or not
