It's been dumping off an on all day here. If you're coming up to fish dress warm. It's very cold. I wish I hadn't been stuck working the fishing would have been great and the surfing better.

Saw guys riding long boards in Tahoe Vista yesterday. 3'+ and very long rideable waves out in front of Tonahpalo. The Weather Channel even had some footage from yesterdays session.

Last week we had 4'+ waves here on the West shore and guys were getting 30yrd or longer rides.

If it's blowing tomorrow I'm definately hitting the waves.

Just remember that the water is very cold. Don't plan on impressing the ladies for a while. Can you say shrinkage?

Ain't life just grand. Surf, Fish or ski. It's nice to have to make such hard choices in life.

And I used to think that my friends and I were hardcore by surfing the North Coast of California in the dead of winter. BRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

I can remember one day many years ago when we hit Tahoe in the spring. We spent the morning scuba diving off the north shore and the afternoon skiing Squaw Valley....ahhhhhh...those were the days.

I heard the other day that if you drained lake Tahoe there would be enough water in it to cover the entire state of California something like 12 or 18 inches deep.

We had 3 or 4 inches of snow over here, Mohawk Valley, as well.
