I can remember one day many years ago when we hit Tahoe in the spring. We spent the morning scuba diving off the north shore and the afternoon skiing Squaw Valley....ahhhhhh...those were the days.
I heard the other day that if you drained lake Tahoe there would be enough water in it to cover the entire state of California something like 12 or 18 inches deep.
We had 3 or 4 inches of snow over here, Mohawk Valley, as well.

Sonny, the black lab, ran ahead to make sure there were no gophers or jackrabbits in the way. If you don't give a dog a specific job, he'll improvise one for himself and it will invariably be fun. There's a lesson there.
