Where in the world is AZ Bruce??? 17 Years, 3 Months ago
Greg is posting weir counts on the Trinity and I at least expect Bruce to start posting his queries concerning steelhead.

However, I just got off the phone with Bruce. I had called the Trinity Motel to see if he had made reservations, etc.- nada. What a novel idea to send him an email. I get a response almost immediately. Anyway, he calls back and I hear he has gone to the dark side from drifting beads to swinging and skating flies of all things and on the Buckley River to boot!!! What is this world coming to?

I'll save the details for Bruce, but it was good to hear he is alive and well and searching out areas for steelhead.

Dang, this new system is a bit slower with dial-up.

Anyhow, I'm still alive. From May thru September, I'm either working 7 days a week or fishing, with an occasional babe thrown in...very occasional!

I don't have much time to stay on the board right now, but I've got a few reports to post and I'm not heading to NorCal for 2 weeks, so I should be able to write a bit more.

Gitt is right, successful skating and swinging for steelies on the Bulkley River in BC are now pleasant memories from the past 2 weeks.

Later my friends,
Bruce

Why don't you quit being so cheap and spring for some high speed. Dial-up is so horse and buggy!

Don't bother heading to the Trinity, there ain't no stinkin' fish this year. The seals and George Bush ate them all. Maybe the Klamath will have some.

I'm thinking he might get a few more babes if he would stop throwing them in while fishing. They don't like getting wet.

"Horse and Buggy?!" Next you're going to tell me to go digital!!!!

Hey, if I spend more on my IP, maybe I won't be able to do AK AND BC next year. Now, that would be a heartbreaker.
