Thank you. You are the fifth person to tell me it's a fish of a life time. I knew something was up when the first person up in Terrace I showed the pixs to would not give the camera back...he just kept scrolling through the photos and requested I email them to him. To bad I didn't know enough about large steelhead to take a girth measurement. Carlo with Western Sport in Santa Rosa estimated the girth at 26" and a weight of 38 pounds. He says that would make it the world record fly-caught steelhead...the record is 32 or 33 pounds for a fish from the Kispiox in the 1960's.
