For a variety of reasons I have had little chance to get off of the coast this past year (Stuck in paradise) so my fishing has been very limited. As much as I am looking forward to the steelhead coming in, and my annual pursuit of those creatures, I still want one more chance to go after a few trout.
I have one long weekend in late October to fish for trout and I have little experience fishing "inland" (that is anyplace east of Willow Creek, Clear Lake, Napa....draw a line) this late in the year so I am looking for the input of the tremendous brain trust on the board.
Is the NF Yuba out? Feather above Almanor? Burney area? Pit?
Any information/ideas/input appreciated.
