New fishing buddy! 17 Years, 3 Months ago
We recently adopted this guy. He's a 1 1/2 year old yellow lab. They guy we got him from was training him for fly ball competition but the dog didn't have what it takes to compete. This guy is a professional dog trainer of drug and bomb sniffing dogs and he just wanted the dog for competition not as a pet...needless to say he comes fully trained.

Here is my daughter getting him ready for a walk....complete with flip flops and cowboy boots!

Sonny, the black lab, ran ahead to make sure there were no gophers or jackrabbits in the way. If you don't give a dog a specific job, he'll improvise one for himself and it will invariably be fun. There's a lesson there.

I live in the city, but don't fit in,
You know it's a pity the shape I'm in.
Well, I've got no home, and I've got no choice,

Great pic!...looks like a great pup...nice boots.

I've been thinking about getting a dog here at some point...still need to get the fence done!

Great looking dog! 17 Years, 3 Months ago
Nothing like a nice Lab to calmly take the "affection" handed out by kids.
Sweet girl you got there, too! Reminds me of my little girl (23 now).

You can`t beat a Lab for a great fishing pal and a wonderful family dog.
If I could teach mine to row and cook ,I`d be on the way to creating the ultimate female.- Almost

Good looking boy. I'm sure he'll bring the family years of fun, love, and at times frustration. What can I say I have two yellow males, love them to death though. They're my boys and my dedicated fishing companions.

Enjoy,

Josh, Lassen, and McKinley

We seek for slumbering trout
And whispering in their ears
Give them unquiet dreams;
Leaning softly out
From ferns that drop their tears
Over the young streams
