That's what I'm thinking... the Toyota is a bit smaller.. less expensive.. and a bit better on gas.

The Old Xterra's didn't thrill me.. but it may be worth it to look at a new one... I like the mpg of the CRV better though.. but I'm sure the Xterra would do 100X better off road.. good suggestion. Thanks!

I just want my over mpg above 20 around 22 or better if at all possible..

I really thought about the Escape.. but the new ones look REAL ugly.. just not my cup of tea anyway.. good suggestion though!

What could be more comfortable than flipping out the windwings and opening the flap vents for that nice A/C?

The 390 with 4:10 Spicer still manages ~13mpg (highway)

Parts are cheap and best of all: NO SMOG!
