Swinging streamers on the Trinity? 17 Years, 3 Months ago
Don't get too excited. I'm taking plenty of indicators with me when I fish the T next week, but after much abuse from this board and a little convincing luck in BC, I've decided to give swinging, or as Willie would scold, "fishing traditional" a good, honest try.

I know the nymph patterns to swing. It's no secret. In fact, if you call the Eureka Fly Shop, the fishing report will tick them off, Brindle Bug, Burlap, Mossbacks, PTs and I've found anything really buggy can work.

My question is, what about streamers? Anyone out there in NorCal cyber land have any luck with 'em on the T? What size? Color?

I hope I'm not asking too much...uh, by the way...what're the GPS coordinates of your favorite secret spot...

AZB wouldn't need to go all the way to JTNM to "dry" flyfish.
