well, I am not sure about the rest of you, but I save boxes that stuff comes in, especially fishing stuff. Now this may not seem like much of a problem, but when you get a bit older you suddenly notice, that you have a lot of small reel boxes, and a few bigger reel boxs, fly line boxes, electronics boxes, cigar boxes, etc. Now only those by the same Mfg are the same size, so you really have a collection of diffrent sized boxes. All different sizes. They don't stack very good as a result.

So, where do you stash all of these boxes? I think I found the prefect place where they don't take up space that's not already taken up, they are out of sight, and easily accessible.

Under the bed. (just on my side, of course)

Now this only works for about thirty years, before you need to go shopping for a taller bed frame.

Come on Paul. After thirty years all you need to do is get a couple of bricks to put under each post of the bed. That will give you at least another 12-14 years!

You crack me up Carpy! I recently went through a "purge" and threw away boxes that held who knows what! Some of those boxes were at least ten years old. Hopefully I learned my lesson! (Mrs. TD isn't taking any bets on that!)

Trying to be more organized...

I seem to save the same boxes except that I keep them in a back corner of my closet. I try to use them up by using them for wrapping gifts and Christmas presents! Which kinda was my reason for saving them in the first place. "Gee. that is just the right size for something!" A couple days ago I just went through them and got rid of the ones that I thought were too big.

Got it... working on the write-up. Guess I should have responded -- that might have helped! *S*

This is too funny! I also have those same boxes - only in my garage! Trying to "earn" a fishing day, I comtemplated my approach to downsizing this mass of cardboard, but got distracted by the "new look" of the ncffb (Great job GM!)instead.
Now that the task has been completed, I am sure that I have recycled all the boxes that I will need and kept all the ones I will never use!
