Hello - Hello 17 Years, 3 Months ago
I finally found you guys...I could smell the smoke but I couldn't quite find the fire. Phil did you ever make it up to Klamath Lake? And dougp did you get out on Labor Day for those stripers? I've been pretty much outta of it for the last four weeks with this back of mine. Nice job on the site Greg - looks like I'm going to have to learn all over again.

Looks like a nice warm camp fire....nice to be back.

Sonny, the black lab, ran ahead to make sure there were no gophers or jackrabbits in the way. If you don't give a dog a specific job, he'll improvise one for himself and it will invariably be fun. There's a lesson there.

Welcome to the new and improved NCFFB!

I did not make it to Upper Klamath. Stopped on my way to Oregon, but didn't take time to fish.....should have.

Why can't she just understand that each fishing trip is a unique, one-of-a-kind opportunity and will never be the same if not taken NOW!?!?

The dang garage never changes, so why put a high priority on cleaning it up?

Thanks Carpy. I hope to be up and around in time to hit Eagle just as it turns on. This morning the temp here, Mohawk Valley, was a toasty 32 degrees - shouldn't be too long before those Eagle Lake toads start heading for the shallows. My home lake, Davis, of course is off the fall fishing list - hopefully they'll get all of those "wolf fish" and come Spring 08 we'll have some terrific fishing for RAINBOW TROUT.

Yeah, I know how it goes Phil...too much water - too little time. Hopefully I'll make it up there next year.
