I don't know where you're heading, but Cabela's now has a big store in Verdi near Reno if you're heading that way. The combo has everything but the leader and tippet. My first setup was a Cabela's combo (really inexpensive) that I used for quite some time before I bought a Scott rod.

How did it cast? How much was it?

Ah, the repeated inappropriate use of the word preety instead of pretty, is that a quote from the Krispy Kreme King?

I have several other Stone Creek rods, and most have come w/MULTIPLE tips, new! Only broke one tip (my fault), but I had another that came w/the rod....free!

No, Stone Creek is not TFO in terms of size (which is a good thing in my mind), but they stand behind all their products and will replace anything that was a defect....except mental ones (like closing it in the car door ). Even then, they would probably sell you a new section for a nominal cost.

Good luck finding a 'Preety' good rod

Really? Does the same quote apply in Chico? What if you're purchasing or returning waders?

I'm also a nobody who recommends Stone Creek.

I live in the city, but don't fit in,
You know it's a pity the shape I'm in.
Well, I've got no home, and I've got no choice,
Oh Lord have mercy on a country boy!
