Howdy.

I can't seem to PM anyone off the board from my lap top anymore, so I'm doing a lil organizing right here, in broad daylight.

We've got the following attendees and rsvps for potluck, for this weekend:

Dawn - veggies
Claudia - scallops, pound cake, chocolate
GM
Ed K - salad, sourdough, and snausages
Andrew Weiner
Arizona Bruce - oysters
Kelly - tater bar
Moi - oysters and chili

If you're game for the Red Wine Swap, bring 2 bottles of your favorite vino (2 of the exact same stuff). Try to go for something a lil unique, obscure, or tiny production. We'll open one of them to taste around the table, and the second one we'll draw numbers for...high number getting first pick on what they want to take home.

I plan on being at the ranch before dark. Here are the directions:

The most popular route is to take Highway 101 to Cloverdale (Northbound) or Ukiah (Southbound). Then take Highway 128 at Cloverdale or Highway 253 at Ukiah. From both directions follow the signs to Boonville. Continue through Boonville on Hwy 128 to Hwy 1. When you see the pacific ocean (at mile marker 0) turn left over the Navarro bridge for 20 miles. Turn right on Kinney Road for 1/4 mile, we are the first driveway on the right. This route will take you through the Redwoods State Park and along the Navarro River. This is a beautiful drive with places to pull off and enjoy the redwood trees.

If you are traveling north on Hwy. 101 and want to take the slow but beautiful coast route take Hwy 12 West in Santa Rosa, through Sebastopol to Bodega Bay then North on Hwy 1.

It's not Southern...but it'll have to do.
