What's with this conections stuff? 17 Years, 2 Months ago  
While snoopin' through the profiles I notice it says I don't have a connection with whoever's profile I'm looking at. The only place I've found anything about connections is in my profile up where it says manage connections. When I clicked on that it said I didn't have any connections to manage. What's up?

If you look at someone else's profile and want to connect with them, you can request a connection with them by clicking on the Connections tab. I just requested a connection with you, so if you approve it, you will have one connection

Nope I started too but it was taking too long to load and I figured they were the same as on the last board. I haven't read the rules yet either.... Maybe I should.

Cool, now I have a connection to manage.
I found this part of the explaination in the FAQ to be a bit odd....

Another interesting benefit is that when you are viewing someones profile - you can see your "connectedness" with them. For example, if John is connected to Bob and Bob is connected to George, then John has one degree of connectedness with George. You can picture it like this: John->Bob->George - so John "knows" George through Bob. You can imagine that with a large group the connections can get pretty complicated. When viewing the profiles you can see how people are connected together.

WTF? Connectedness?

I had heard that phrase before but never knew what it was. I just googled it and now that stuff makes a little more sense. That must be where they got the idea for the Kevin Bacon game. You ever heard of that? Every actor or actress can be connected to Kevin Bacon in 3 movies or less. It would probably work with any actor, not sure why they use Kevin Bacon.
