The Northern California Fly Fishing Board

Back when I first got my first computer...I found this cool BB that had a bunch of fishing reports. It was the original Nor Cal BB, run (loosely speakin) by Jeff. Pretty much all fishing reports. it was a great place to post reports and ask questions. Then as time went on more and more people began to post. It exploded and then it wasn't all fishing reports like it was when I first found it. My suggestion is you return to the NCFFB roots and start a section with FISHING REPORTS ONLY!!!!! Have another section for general conversation. What's so tough to understand? Most people here want simple fishing reports...they don't have to be Novels with a zillion pictures from some far flung fishing destination...just simple honest, consise reports from Nor cal. Don't let anyone clutter it up with their BS. Those other reports are fine and enjoyable but they little to do with Northern Ca. Thank you and I hope you all are enjoying your Holiday. Cheers! berms

Thanks Berms. We'll be having a Steering Committee Meeting at the Spring Bash and will be discussing all of the ideas and thoughts being shared on the Board. Your idea is a good one. One of the concerns we had in designing the new Board was divvying up the many potential topics into seperate forums and losing the overall cohesiveness of the Board. (As if we have cohesiveness to start with!). Many Bulletin Board do design their site in that fashion and it can work. At one time we considered setting up a Fly Tying, Rod Building, Salt, Fresh, Trout....etc, Forums. But we chose to keep it simple to keep the focus around the campfire. We are still growing and learning how to best manage this new format. If you come to the Bash, please plan to attend the Steering Committee Meeting Saturday morning.
