I think you would like the Bash. Perhaps you will connect with a number of people (sheople?) on this board.

This is the year. Show your face. You can find lots of fishing from Hereford Ranch. 'nough said......

Okay, I won't say absolutely not. I DID just get notification that I have another free flight from my Southwest Airlines Visa.

But then, Mom's old and sick and I have to learn a few technological skills FAST if I want my business to succeed.

See, life can be complicated when you're not fishing!

re: technological skills - What better way to practice those skills than to come as the official photographer of the Bash. Not A highly compensated position, however.

My mom warned me about the n'er-do-wells in this world. Here, I'm really trying to be responsible and put play aside for necessary work and YOU GUYS, like Huckleberry Finn, are trying to get me to kick off my shoes, play hookey and go swimmin' in the Ol' Muddy.

Bruce,

I don't think anyone has fully explained the Bash rules to you. The new guy on the block is expected to bring Port for the group. This helps those who believe they can rally for LMS (Last Man Standing) go to bed early so that Ed and Joey can fight it out for this prestigious award.

PS: If you join us, I may show you a place or two where you can fish WITHOUT jigs, and still catch fish, and better yet, it will be on dry flies!

I'd get the FMD award (First Man Down), being a light weight.

Ain't happening - Carpy's got FMD locked up....

I do think that Biggest Lightweight may be available....
