Does anyone have some gloves we can use, for oyster handling?

Also need some charcoal and firewood. I'm maxed out with the oysters! Gone are the days where they cost $25 a bushel, like when I was a young lass in college....

The Fire Goddess will see what she can do about firewood and charcoal. Consider it taken care of.

See ya tomorrow!

Well, I was hoping to make it. I was also hoping to fly home from New York tonight and get a bunch of work done tomorrow and drive up Saturday to join you all (I've even paid for a cabin already). But my flight got cancelled, I'm stuck at the Wyndham at the Newark airport, not flying out until tomorrow mid-morning, and I don't think I can swing it. So rip me goodheartedly in my absence. Have a great time. It sucks.

2 extension cords and the (always carried) duct tape is loaded already. I know our Cottage has a kitchen and electricity so we will overcome!

If I read your post correctly, you will be back in Cali on Friday. Seems to me you should be able to still make it on Sat.

Just tell the boss man that it wasn't your fault that the flight was a no go and you aren't giving up your weekend plans!

Kim,
What kind of Gloves? Like old leather yard gloves? We've got a bunch of them laying around.

Andrew, that's too bad. But we will do our best, to disparage you.

Claudia, yes. Any gloves that would be tough enough to withstand sharp shells, and that you don't mind getting wet. Thanks!
