The Northern California Fly Fishing Board

It was a small gathering at Davis Lake with 8 attendees making it on Saturday night plus one recruitment on the lake. The food was great and abundant, the company was fantastic and a good time was had by all. Many fish were caught from about 15 to 20+ inches, hard fighters all. Most were caught by stripping buggers or under indicators. The weather was from warm to cool with some periods of wind. We missed you folks that didn't make it....you missed a good time with lots of good fishing and comraderie.

Thanks everyone I had a great time! The camp fire time was the best catching up with everyone. Great stories, Betty did a great job working the fire and the food was fantastic. Laughter was plentiful, and I hope to hookup with everyone before another 10 years pass.

Let's do it again, same time next year. Fishing was great, but the greatest pleasure was sharing the time with a great wonderful bunch of folks. Many thanks for everyone's contributions.

For those who did not go, we missed you. Davis is a wonderful place to gather, and the fishing is coming back strong. Join us next year.

Greg had to work that weekend and found out at the last minute. That is his excuse. Mine is that I didn't want to drive all that way alone--geez, I must be getting older. I am really sorry we missed seeing everyone! Have we set a date for next year?

Why not just say first weekend of October---- and at Davis lake, too. Fishing should always be good at that time, campgrounds are great, and weather usually holds. My 2 cents.

Sounds great to me. It would be nice to see y'all much sooner, but we will see how the year plays out. Maybe there will be mini-bash opportunities.
