Fun stuff. Congrats, must have taken a lot of work. I was kind of wondering where everyone was...

...as I know you like to write. You should be able to submit
articles from the "My Menu" Submit News link. Let me know if you
have any questions on that stuff.

Thanks. I feel like I should launch the site properly with an inflammatory political remark...nah.

Andrew, Questions on publishing on the site are addressed in the FAQ's. Go to FAQ, Board Related Questions, Publishing Articles.

Welcome, Andrew. Here's your chance to get in on the ground floor and provide your perspective on how this new board should look and feel.

Hmmm. I some times like reading the political statements on the current board, but then sometimes they devolve into a pissing contest. maybe a friendly statement on the FAQs about "negative Karma" could warn participants about the consequences of political statements. As anybody can give or take away karma, maybe we can develop a social norm about positive an negative karma?

Haven't looked through the FAQ's yet--as far as political statements, I think we could say that anything with environmental/conservation implications is fair game, but other political items should be kept off the board. How's that for a start?

At this time and in the future, I will not post nor comment on polictial statements however, to keep this a fly fishing campfire, how about placing "Political Statements" (yeah, I know, political statements are only made to help the fishery) into your personal BLOG that's available for folks who desire to read that information or route them to Bjorn's Conservation forum/section/area.
