A quick trip to Eureka yesterday for a funeral, fished the Trin around Junction City for a few minutes (more as a tribute than really fishing). It was cold and clear and the river was... the same. Couldn't find a hungry fish and hit the road again. Did find a new spot to pontoon from/to. The ceramony was nice, as was visiting with friends that I don't see all that often. Had to go to LCB for wings and Downtown Brown. Made arrangement to meet Jeff L there and enjoied the visit. Great guy... just talks kinda funny and still had bass fishin' / NASCAR tendencies! His friends (I'm bad with names) were real nice too and I'm trying to talk them into adopting me for trips to Alaska to visit their family. Shot back over here this morning and had planned to try the Trin again. But after answering the phone in Eureka (dummy), had to get back to work and deal with real estate stuff. I toasted Jeff and Thomas with my coffee as I passed over the Mad, it was a awesome morning on the coast! Stared at the Trin most of the way back and saw at least 5,987 new spots to fish! 
Anyway, I'll be down for the show on Saturday... hope to see some of you there!
