Well, I travelled down to Fresno from Reno to meet up with my best friend and for a little bass fishin. I ended up spending more time fly fishin for trout on the Lower Kings than I did bass fishin. A gentleman at a local sporting goods store in Fresno suggested I should hit the lower Kings as there had been reports of good fishing of late. Turned out to be true as I nailed a nice 15" rainbow in 1 hour of fishing on Saturday, and 3 small bows on Sunday. My friend got an 18" rainbow on Sunday.
Now, I had no idea that there would be decent trout fishing down below Pine Flat. Does anyone know(Hud?) if all those are planters? Or are there some wild trout in the Lower Kings as well?
