Fly fishers seriously misunderstand how midges "work". Traditional patterns, especially during the critical emergence stage, fail miserably to imitate the real insect. This chapter was shot on the Truckee River, Green River, Hebgen Lake and on various lakes of the Kamloops region of BC.
