Fishing in December 17 Years, 1 Month ago
I should be in Red Bluff the 15th of December through the 1st. I know I'm posting early but I wanted to get it on the schedule. I would love to do a drift, I could pay for gas, lunch, beer. Meet up on the Sac or Trinity. I'll post again when it gets closer.

Thanks,
Scott

Hey Scott - I'll be heading over your way on the 15th...making that familiar left turn once I get to Redding. Drop me a note if you want to hookup.

Keep in touch. I've been on the L Sac exclusively this year. A LOT.
Hooked about 30 yesterday, largest went 22", smallest 15". Good size averages this year.
And we saw ONE other angler ALL DAY !! (won't find that over the hill)

Well this sucks, I had hoped the surgery was going to be minimal...it wasn't. I just started therapy so throwing a rod is out. My wife has back issues and can't sit for very long, this is good because she can get more done around the house just kidding. Anyway we are staying in AZ for Christmas. Thank you very much for the replies and fishing opportunities, I know I'm missing out.
I hope you all have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.

See ya in the summer.

Scott

Nor will you find a 22" fry over the hill.

Just kidding, sd.

I'll have to keep that in mind when I show up in Feb...in case the rivers are blown out.

A steelhead fly fisherman needs two qualities:
A strong casting arm and a room temperature IQ.

Good luck with the rehab, Scott.

Hey, do you belong to a fly club up there?
