According to Kiene's board it was still going last week. What the heck else have you got to do you old retired person??? Go!!! Give us a report or I'll put a hex on you. Something like you'll have to sleep in the same room with Ed K and me for the rest of your life on fishing trips.

Its been going on for a couple weeks. Like last year its been a bit sporadic at Almanor. On one night and off the next. And the bugs are so concentrated that they have a ton of fish keying on them. Butt Lake as been a little better. Try all the way down to the damn.

Opps......I just re-read my post. I meant to say the bugs are NOT so concentrated. Big difference. I hope that wasn't too misleading. I haven't heard for a few days, but I suspect the hex hatch is getting pretty thin. Most bugs are about two weeks ahead of normal this year.
Did you get a chance to fish them?
