Saw there was a fire up in the Shingletown area that was threatening many homes and some people had evacuated. Isn't that Troy's area? Any word on how he's doing?

3500 homes threaten. I would assume they are both in harms way.

From the look of the map on this link, http://wv.enplan.com/, so thoughtfully provided by Andre, it appears that their homes are ok, so far. The Cal Fire guys are working their asses off putting in a LOT of hours daily to get these fires under control. It does appear that the Fly Shop's water at Rock Creek was right in the middle...dang, pretty little spot that I, amongst others have enjoyed fishing.
