Went to my favorite spot near beardsley reservoir over the weekend. We thought we might beat the beginning of the run off, but managed to get there just in time for what I can best describe as a flood. flows were around 3200 and rising. I find this area fishable up until about 1200.

Fly Fishing was basically not an option. Not that there weren't some slow areas, but they were difficult to reach and deep, with no risers or any indication of fish.

Luckily, we brought plenty of beer and a few spinner rods. In fact, I did see another camper pull in a 22 inch brown fishing a rooster tail. Every river I saw in the area is extremely high and borderline dangerous.

Not sure if Buzz is still on the board, but assuming he lives in that area still, he can vouch.
