The Northern California Fly Fishing Board

The NCFFB was born in the mid 1990's and was the source of many friendships and the exchange of a lot of fishing information and of some good natured heckling. During its hey day (or is it hayday), the number of posts each day might exceed 100. It's been 8 days since the last post (to compare I checked: on May 30, 2000, there were 35 posts). Funeral arrangements are yet to be announced but a celebration of life now called the GOOF and also known as the BASH will be held in June.

I'll have to sell my feather extensions to a bigger audience. Think Mr. Blanton will wear one?

Ha! so sad... Strange how things worked out for this board. Maybe people started fishing more??

Honestly, I miss the old borad as well and I still enjoy seeing old (or new) faces each year at Herdford Ranch. I am finally back to fishing form and soon to have lots of free time, so expect some reports

I just thought everyone was try to set the record for the most days without a post.

I'm just lazy...this whole password thing wears me out. In fact I feel like taking a nap now because of having to have a new one sent to me.

When is the Bash? I'm hoping to go if possible.

Ya'll know...I didn't really fish for the last couple years...just getting back into it. After the Feather, San Juan and living in the Sierras...coming back to San Jose seemed like the death of flyfishing to me. Now I'm on the go...searching out the 5" San Jose rainbow just like when I originally got into flyfishing.
