Goofy Bash Report 13 Years, 7 Months ago
Fish were caught, good food was et, fine friends, new and old, were joyfully enjoyed, and a wonderful time was had by all who attended. End of report for now. Pictures will be posted later.

It was fine for the tire shop at the Redding Walmart too...an unrepairable sidewall puncture on one of a set of tires with 55K miles on them resulted in the purchase of 4 new ones on the trip home

...even that experience didn't reduce the weekend's fair fishing, good food (& drink), and hanging out with OFs

I think you got your money worth on that set of tires.

Whatever that stuff was you brought to the potluck, it sure was good.

Great seeing you again Paul

Goof # 2 is on the books and we met some new people. Joey and I did not get a bunch of fishing in but we made it to Manzanita lake for the first time. There was a midnight tire changing festival that may become a new part of the bash. I'm heading to New Mexico tomorrow to start work. We will be heading to Utah on July 20th for Drake's on the Provo and then over to Montana. Not sure if we will be Goofing in the future but we will try our best. Was able to get a few pic's of the goof feeding frenzy and the campfire. I guess Joey became the offical fire God and he did a fine job. Last men standing were BenFishing, Joey and myself. Paul Wulff gets a honorable mention as he hobled off with flat tire in hand.

Till next time,

Jet

Excellent Bash. Good people, good food and drink, and some good fishing. Ann and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Ann even caught some fish on that little creek. She got skunked on PH riffle, but I managed a few to hand. Drove home today.

G'night.

a big "Thanks" to all for the belly full of fine foods and companionship !
I sadly missed everyone this past year and I must say the fishing was pretty
boring without some of the great people I have met through this forrum beside me
here on the Trinity...to be honest ya'all didn't miss much as the Steelheading
wasn't the great anyway...time for the Kings now hopefully it will be a good run
for the next couple months !
Our best to everyone and Melissa says "Thank You very much" for all the well wishes
and hugs I gave her when I got home.
