A fishing report,,sort of. 13 Years, 7 Months ago

Was up in the hat creek area last week for a few days:
Hat Creek was high and dirty with spring runoff.
Lost Creek was clear and full of wild trout. The big waterfall at the head is an quite the sight as is the view back down into the valley with Mt Shasta as the backdrop. Almost any dry fly worked. no camera
The trout in the ponds were as fickle as ever. I did manage a couple of nice fish, sight fishing from shore, and a few from the tub. A black ant pattern was the most efective dry fly. again, no camera.
