Hello all, just wanted to stop by and say hi. It has been awhile since I have posted or even visited the board. Might have something to do with me not putting a fly in the water for almost 3 years. Amazing how work and life can get in the way of fishing.
Hope you all have been doing well. I hope to be able to stop by a little more often again. Life is busy but going great!
Actually got to put a fly in the water for about 2 hours yesterday on the Yuba. Was able to land a few fish, and was a very nice feeling to be on the river again. Few salmon were around, but not a lot. Plan on getting out a few times this fall.
Again, I hope you all are doing awesome!

As you can see by the amount of posts or posters, life has has got in the way for a lot of us....At least we can get out now and then to wet a line on our local water!

Hi Gary...keep us updated now that you are able to get back out. This board will only be good if people provide reports, information, etc. If forecasts are right, next year should even be better than this year!!!!

Hey Stranger. Good to see you on line again.
I fished the Yuba last Monday for the first time this year. Managed to hook 3 and land one, all on dries. I fish the long bar on the island below the riffles. It's usually pretty good this time of year, especially when the salmon begin to show up--which hasn't happened much yet.
