Water temps at most stations are now between 54 and 55.5 degrees and the fish are biting!
Take your pic of species. Salmon and steelhead in the valley, or trout in the mountains. Oh and for you hunters,the deer are moving and quite a few were taken yesterday. Don'tcha' love the Fall?!! CB

Any time it rains it seems the deer lose some of their caution. Some of us would never get deer in B Zone if that didn't happen.

Fifty percent chance of thunderstorms mit Blitzen today at Los Padres Reservoir kept me away - all loaded up and no place to go. Boo Hoo Hoo!!

If you go to the low flow you'll need plenty of flies as the jacks are eating nymphs and egg patterns and the adults just take them from you.
Flows are dropping below the outlet to 4500 cfs by monday at 2pm. Tons of bright salmon moving up.
Hooked an eleven pound steelhead on a K15 Kwikfish while salmon fishing near Vance ave. So they are there too. CB

I think the season is closed in the low flow,,, I best check the regulations, and bring a 10 wt?
