I was over to the Trinty River on Tuesday and here are a few things I can report. There absolutely was water in the river, in fact, there was much water in the river. There were absolutely many fishermen around everywhere. The weather was great, the fishing was great, the catching was horrible. I never saw a steelhead or talked with anyone who had seen or hooked one. I did catch a smolt and there seemed to be several of those around.So if I wait three years till those smolt go to the ocean and return the catching should be good.
