Had a very good day on the low flow with guide Toby Uppinghouse (916-505-4773). Seven or eight steelhead brought to the net, three or four LDR, and several more missed hits or short dances. I doubt any fish was over 20", but all were fat and sassy, capable of two or three upstream runs, and a decided aversion to coming to the top. We used the standard rig: indicator up top, egg lure in the middle, and a very small, dark fly (the Tobe-inator) on the point. Toby's a good guide and good company. A most satisfactory outing.
