I really needed to get out after the last couple weeks of
work and doing a renovation to the laundry room.
Melissa needed to get out as well, she hasn't been fishing
since her battle with the lukemia so today was her birthday
so I got her a license and we hit the lake for some r&r.
Lewy has been fishing really good for months and what a nice
day to be on the water ,sunny, fairly warm and no wind !
A lot of bugs hatching, mostly midges but I also saw some
flying ants and some baetis so of coarse I matched the hatch
with a mini leach...lots of grabs but only a few landed
here's Melissas big fish of the day and one showing the not
so secret mini leach.
It was great haveing my fishin' partner back in the boat
