Now that Hodges Property Management has retired does anyone known you is running the concessions for the launch ramps? I used to buy an annual pass from Hodges so that I didn't have to hassle with having $5.00 with me to launch.

I usually put in at the dirt launch at the 10 mph sign .. no charge!
I'll be there in the morning, I'll see if I can find out who's managing the the
pay to play

Thanks. I have thought about launching down there but I used to fish up by the island opposite the launch ramp and above. I probably should start checking other areas.

Your Welcome Mitch....It was a tough day for me...
a lot of short strikes and fiesty fish shakin' the hook
my buddy says I should quit pinching the barb on my flies
but I use the same fly for the river and I would probably
forget to pinch them on stream so I'll keep pinching at the
vise !

I have had days like that on Lewiston, I once went 10 fish before I was able to get a solid hook set. I always pinch the barb and I don't think it makes much difference unless you loose line tension during the fight. I have landed several steelhead with a pinched barb hook and usually they are twice as big as the trout I catch so if it works for them it should work for trout.
