I haven't posted much here in the last couple of years, mainly because I haven't had much to post about. I have asked a question here and there about this fishery or that, and have always gotten a response. I want to thank you all for your frinedship, advice, and for being here. To that end I would like to host a fly swap. I've participated in a few here over the years, but never hosted one. So it my turn to do so. I know this board is not as active as it used to be, but I still think we can swap some flies. Here are my ideas. Trout season is coming up so I would like to call this swap the, "your favorite trout fly" swap. Whatever your favorite trout fly is, send it in. I have another idea. I would like to include those anglers who don't tie. If you have a favorite pattern, talk a friend into tying it, or maybe even buy a few. A third idea is what to do with the swap flies once we get them. If we pull this off, I promise to fish every fly this year, and post a report of the fish caught. How about a deadline of April 31st. I would like to limit this to 8 participants, (so that non-tyers could join in). Thanks once again. Let's have a swap in 2012
