Swimming Hackle 12 Years, 10 Months ago
I was tying some pheasant tail nymphs (one of me go to flies) today. Instead of the normal peacock herl thorax I used some the the Jay Fair micro swimming hackle. Doesn't look like much in the vise, but swim it around in the water and it looks alive. Very cool material. I can't wait to give them a try. Anybody else tying with the swimming hackle?

Absolutely!!! It is great material and I have it in several different colors and lengths...it should prove to be really good on a lot of different flies...looking forward to the opportunity to test it out. Reports will follow.
